The hotel has been neglected over the years. It needs some serious renovations. A coat of paint would go a long way here. There were so many stains on the walls. There were cigarette burn marks in the counter, cuts in the desk, wonky light (goes on and off by itself), damaged baseboards. Pulling the door behind you didn’t lock it. You had to jiggle the handle a certain way. The gaps around the door were significant. We joked that it was our night light. I believe this is a fire code violation. We had cats so we wiped down the surfaces. Let’s just say it wasn’t very clean. We used over 20 Lysol wipes. We were woken up at 3am with a guest trying to enter the room. In the morning a gentleman from the hotel came to the room to ask me who I was and when I checked in. Hmmmm….shouldn’t you know? I always ask myself if I would stay again. It’s a big NO. I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s before and they were great. I’ve paid less and had better. This location missed the mark.

I’ve stayed at this property at least 40 times in the last decade while travelling the 401 corridor for business and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s not five-star, but you definitely get what you pay for: clean room, clean shower with good water pressure and ample hot water, excellent customer service. It’s an easy choice for me for an economy stay.

The hallways need some TLC. The elevator felt like it needed some TLC. The buttons stick. The room was good. Clean. Non smoking 🚭 which was great. The bed was the most comfortable bed that i have ever slept in. Staff were very nice and curteous.
