I liked the style of the hotel and the room, which was a good size, but in need of some decoration. Paint peeling in the bathroom. Check in was a faff. I stay a lot in the areas and first time i have been asked for ID when the room had already been paid for and the receptionist was very off hand

Room service food is very expensive and the quality is sub par. Avoid the fish and chips at all costs. They can't call you a taxi, you must use a screen to order a ride, like under but you must disclose a lot of personal information to get a ride to the airport..

Stayed for a few hours prior to flight at Heathrow. Hotel needs to provide more staff on check in, only 2 people in front of me but still took nearly 1 hour to check in. Got free drink vouchers for the bar as an inconvenience but bar shut in mins, never got to use them. Room was excellent however, airport view? Technically yes but as the hotel is only 5 floors high you really don’t see anything.

The Radisson RED has become our go-to hotel if we need to stay at Heathrow overnight. The family rooms have bunk beds which our kids love, and the main bed is also huge and very comfy! The pool area is great as well, although it closes quite early. If you can spring for breakfast it's fantastic!!! We didn't go for it this time as our flight was too early. Be warned though that the building actually houses two hotels (Radisson and Radisson RED), with the former consisting of older, smaller rooms. This also means the complex is VERY busy at all times. It's also the last stop for the Hotel Hoppa bus to Heathrow, with lots of people aiming for that first morning bus! If you're worried about not getting a space though, an Uber to T2 was only £15 (a family ticket on the bus was £13).
