My husband and I were here on our honeymoon and were very disappointed with our experience at The Mayfair Townhouse. Upon arrival there were multiple people working but no-one offered to help with baggage or opening the door (probably stupid thing to comment on but considering it is a "luxury" hotel, would've thought this would happen). Check in was fast but we had no help brining our bags up and the corridors are tiny so this was a little difficult. The room was also not great. (*Not blaming the hotel for this as this is the room we chose, but making the comment so others know). It was a lot smaller than described & shown in pictures, and wasn't updated. The shower leaked anytime you used it since the door was not flush with the tub which was annoying. The location of the hotel is great and you have a short walk to the tube & sights, which was pretty much the only positive to this hotel. The hotel staff was also unkind. At every interaction we had with them, they visibly showed signs of being putt out to help, to greet, and to offer assistance. We felt like a huge bother just being near any staff here (we asked for turndown service one night, and to have a taxi called for us to the airport, otherwise we made no other requests). If you're looking for a hotel that is close to a lot, then this is it. If you're expecting anything else from this hotel, go elsewhere. Was overall very disappointed and will not be back & cannot recommend. Cannot recommend at all.

THE ROOM WAS NICE BECAUSE I PAID FOR THE EXECUTIVE ROOM AND IT WAS BETTER THAN THE STANDARD ROOMS. HOWEVER, WE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY UPGRADE. THE HOTEL IS COZY AND THE BREAKFAST LOOKED GREAT!

Wouldnt stay again . Not a 5* property . Rooms are tiny (we stayed in a deluxe room) , service at the bar was poor bartender on his phone the whole time and we had to go up to order as he was standing on phone. Location is the best thing about this hotel easy walk to Mayfair and shops. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel, this isn’t it .

Lovely Hotel in Great Location
One night business trip. Very nice hotel, very classy. Great professional staff. Very good location for exploring Mayfair and other sites in the area. Had a cabin room which was pretty small and no desk for work. Would book a larger room next time.

Excellent hotel, great location, comfortable bed. Really nice shower. As most hotel rooms in London it’s fairly small but well outfitted. Highly recommend and will be back.

We love this hotel. Centrally located in beautiful Mayfair, a stone’s throw from restaurants, pubs and shopping. A short walk to the tube and just across from the park. The staff is exceptional and helpful. Beautiful place to stay.

We only stayed at this hotel for our long layover. It is in a very posh area of London and very walkable to Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was small but well appointed and comfortable. At check in we were told that the minibar was free and were encouraged to take everything. You don’t have to tell me twice about free stuff and took his advice. The snacks were delicious and a welcome change to the food provided on our flight. If we decide to travel to London in the future, we will be sure to stay here again.
