Wonderful staff, beautiful room and so very very accommodating to people with accessible needs! This is where you need to be when you're on vacation...no fuss...no muss just fun!

Excellent location my only inconvenience was that the elevators are really small we were on the second floor by the time it came to our floor it was full every time and had to carry heavy suitcases down 3 floors I am 80 years old.

Convenient but Public Atmosphere
Strand Palace is centrally located near the West End, Covent Garden, and excellent dining options, making it a convenient choice for travelers. However, the mixed-use lobby—combining check-in, guest services, luggage storage, and restaurant —feels busy and slightly chaotic, creating a public atmosphere. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with quality sheets and a great shower. The recyclable red water bottle is a thoughtful touch. Despite efforts by considerate staff like Alock to assign a quieter room, noise was an issue, including loud conversations from housekeeping staff in the corridor. While practical for its location, the hotel lacks privacy and exclusivity.

The ‘cosy single’ was actually very good - the room had everything needed and the bathroom was well equipped. Big enough for one person, ideal for a single night stay.

We had a great time, perfect location. Bar was welcoming. Check in was exceptional being given an upgrade for returning customer. Room was clean, had all the amenities you could wish for. I would definitely recommend and return here

My friends and I had an amazing experience at the Strand Palace Hotel. Its prime location made it easy for us to access all the attractions we wanted to see. We were especially grateful for the warm welcome we received during check-in. Mary, the receptionist, truly went above and beyond. After a long tour in Europe, we arrived at the hotel early and inquired about the availability of our room so we could rest. Although our original room wasn't ready, she kindly upgraded us to a fantastic room that we absolutely loved. If I ever find myself in London again, I would definitely choose the Strand Palace Hotel without hesitation. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making our stay in London so enjoyable!

Lifts could do with upgrading given the size of the hotel. Good central location- near Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and the theatre district. Enjoyed our stay, 3 nights.
