We do regular trip up to London and around the country attending theatre shows and events and shopping and generally looking and site seeing. This trip not only had one of the best shows I’ve seen but what topped it off was the hotel stay, it was clean, brute, air conditioned all day and night, the staff were very friendly and always said hello and greeted you a smile. Along with all that we got a fantastic price for a highly recommended hotel, right in the theatre area of London. I will now always look at this hotel and recommend it to all that want to go into London for theatre, shopping or just a tourist good time.

Fantastic location in the heart of theatre district, with lots of excellent dining options in the hotel as well as close by. Only 3 mins walk from Charring cross. Small but comfortable rooms and surprisingly quiet for such a busy part of London.

Amazing stay, lovely staff and wow breakfast

The Strand Palace Hotel was an excellent stay, beds comfortable, rooms lovely, staff amazing and wow what a lovely breakfast. We were lucky enough to eat in the Haxells restaurant one evening and had an amazing steak! We would recommend anyone to stay here, not the cheapest hotel but well worth the extra to stay here. Great central location, and even though on the Strand the windows sound deadening wooden shutters were great at noise cancellation and blacked out the room.

Everything was great until the guard knocked on my door twice—at 7 p.m. and again at 9 p.m.—claiming I was playing loud music (?!!). As a solo traveler, this was very unsettling. I would recommend improving the room’s soundproofing instead of threatening to evict guests.
