Not what I expected.

When booking I knew that there was no “front desk” but this concept is still weird to me and while check in was smooth not to my liking. Having the front desk area empty also made for the hotel to feel unsafe, as anyone could just walk in and out of the place. When requesting additional towels and blankets as the room did not have enough for the number of guests I was instructed where to go to get them (not being brought to the room by staff), making it a serve yourself where towels, blankets, toiletries etc. were open to the public. Our room while the beds were comfortable the sheets felt like plastic. Our window faced a parking lot with a flood light that was on all night and our window curtains too small to cover the light coming in making it difficult to sleep. The tv did not work most of the time we were there, the channels were glitching and then we would get an error. The door did not have an upper latch as most hotels do, it just had the lock on the door itself. There were a lot of food places near by and a school across the street, but the neighborhood did not seem the best so walking to the places was a bit nerve wracking. I must say I was highly disappointed on this stay.

There is no front desk, it is all done by a kiosk with a person on video. I prefer a in person experience. When we needed something there was no front desk to call, we had to call the hotel from the website phone number to request additional towels and to fix our TV. Also, no one cleaned our room for the whole 4 days we were there. After the first night we asked the lady in the "kiosk" and she said the only clean it if requested so we did and when we returned back that evening the room still had not been cleaned just clean towels dropped off in our room. Also, the added charge for parking was irritating as we paid to stay at the hotel already.

The room was in excellent condition - I honestly couldn’t have asked for better at that price. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit shaky at times - and even with that, it did work overall, but the connection just wasn't as strong at times. I loved how neatly the bed was made, the room was spotless with a pleasant scent, and the streamlined virtual check-in and check-out process was both modern and efficient. Bathroom clean as a whistle.

It had a vintage and overall clean feel. My only complaints/concerns are when you check in, the virtual assistant said our Room number out loud twice, which is a huge safety concern, it’s already in the email, no need to announce it.

Honestly a really nice hotel and great stay. Great value for what we got. The hotel had a dated look but that’s really about it. Check-in and check-out was really easy to get through. The virtual front desk kind of threw me for a loop and was had some doubts in case I encountered a situation. Fortunately, that did not happen. Solid location and central to everywhere we needed to be. Quiet hotel and no noisy neighbors. My fiancée and I love carbonated water so having access to the carbonated water machine in the lobby and a huge fridge and a microwave in our room was top-tier comfort. Would definitely recommend and would for sure stay again.

Check in was REALLY slow. We waited about 30 minutes and were 2nd in line. We had 2 rooms and had to check them in separately and it took a REALLY long time. There was dog poop in the hallway and a huge hairball in the tub. We travelled with our kids and requested early on for rooms next to each other so our older kids(19,17, 15) could stay in the room next to us and were promised that would happen and it didn’t. Other than THAT, it wasn’t a BAD stay, just not our favorite.

Not great for long term stays no turn doen service. No privacy with information due to frint desk kiosk shouting your information and room number. Would recommend trying to do check in when lobby is empty.

I have stayed in this hotel before a few years ago, but this time around it was a stark difference. I had to wait for 45 minutes to check-in as there was a line of only 4 other parties in front of me which was slow going with the remote front desk employee. This is not a valuable service to customers as this was a tedious and drawn out process which would have been expedited with a staff member. Please bring back in-person front desk staff.

Room was clean but the exhaust fan in the bathroom was way too loud. No coffee available in the room. Air conditioner doesn’t really keep the room cool no alarm clock registration area was clean. Virtual check in takes way too long. The outside area was clean except where they have designed smoking area Sugar butts all over the place no place to to put your cigarette butts holy coffee is downstairs and juice. You have to buy your own snacks or anything. would not recommend.

It was very different to have check-in through a screen, and not knowing for sure that staff were on site was a little odd. It was fast and convenient though, and the room was large and spacious. Water and coffee machines in the lobby were a nice touch, and it was quiet all night. There was a bit of a funny smell in the room, and it would have been much nicer if parking was included and not an extra cost.

Have used this hotel in the past and although the $150 deposit is a bit ridiculous and takes so much time to get deposited back into your account (almost a week), it was never a deal breaker, but the change to the kiosk is the last straw. If you show up and have even two people before you to check in, expect to be waiting for more that 40 mins. I won't be using this hotel any more, there are so many other good locations in Glendale that have actual PEOPLE working the front desk and also don't charge you a ridiculous amount for a deposit.
