Overnight stay for BD banquet. Arrived at 1130, was told check in is 3 or else I have to pay extra. I was ok to wait. While waiting for my ride, front desk person got into a verbal argument with guests outside 2nd floor hallway. 20 mins later the outcome was for guests to receive refund so they can leave. I returned to check in, same person at front desk. Btw, the door is always locked, you rang the doorbell and he came out somewhere, always on his cell phone. Anyway, was given a room but when I open the doors there was another guest in it. Was given second room, but floor below sink and in bathroom were wet. We found out it was not from a leak, but when they mopped the floor it had not dry yet. When we came back from dinner, the motel was prett full. The noise from Rosemead Blvd is pretty loud all night. Plus Temple City is infested with wild perokeets that they do not stop even at night. Will try another place next time. Oh yeah, in the evening I happened to get something from car, there was a police car parked in front of office for about 20 mins…. The room looks like what was shown. Looks like recently remodeled but unfortunately poorly managed or under staffed.

I was given a key to my room and when I entered there was a person already sleeping in the bed. I go back to the front desk and they gave me another room but I was told I’d have to switch rooms the next morning since they needed the space. I entered the second room and it was disgusting. Hair in the sink, bathtub and all over the floor. The bed had stains and hair everywhere it was deplorable. I went to the front office and told them I wasn’t staying in the dirty room and he offered another room but I said no and found a new hotel. Before I left I told the manager I’d dispute the money with Expedia and he said he’d confirm everything and allow my money back. When Expedia called the hotel to confirm my story the manager only allowed one of two nights of a refund even though I was on the property for about 30 minutes and it was disgusting. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

I liked that there was always parking and we were constantly in an out during our stay. The room was decent. Towels appeared to be kind of old. The shower and sink took a while for the water to drain. Not terrible experience but could definitely improve ammenities. I didn't really deal with staff so can't really comment on that.
