Awful. This hotel has no AC and it was unbearably hot. I have some empathy for the fact that there was a heat wave going on, but even at night when outside cooled down the room was so hot!! My room was on the ground floor with a window that needed to stay open to make it bearable, but left me worried for my things and myself. I couldn't leave ANYTHING remotely valuable in the room with a wide-open ground floor window. I was booked for 3 nights but only stayed for one after having one of the worst sleeps I've ever had at a hotel. I had to book another hotel and thankfully I found something last minute. The rooms do not have their own refrigerators, there was a communal fridge in the lobby (that doesn't have ice). They offer free wifi which is needed because for some reason you don't get cell phone service in the rooms. I'm not the type of person to mind a less-than-great room, for the most part I'm only there to sleep, but you need to feel like your belongings are safe while you are away. I was excited to stay in the area and explore Beverly Hills on foot as the location is great, but it just wasn't worth it. All the staff I encountered were very nice, the situation was not their fault and the bed appeared clean.
Get some AC machines at the very least, I can't think of anywhere in LA that doesn't have AC. So old and bare minimum of what a hotel should be. Would definitely not stay again.
