it was okay, wouldn’t stay here again though. water pressure is horrible, tons of bugs in the shower, there’s not really anyone working the front desk 24/7 i went down there to get more towels cause our room wasn’t restocked or cleaned once. no one was at the front desk to help me even after ringing their doorbell twice. the cleanliness was eh. this place was okay but definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

Remodeled but little space

The hotel was newly remodeled and very modern but unfortunately there was no room in the bathroom to put toiletries. The room was small for the price. The check in was unfriendly. There was parking and it was free. The location was good. I won’t stay here again.

In this fabulous area, this hotel is a gift. The grove is 5-10min walk. Nice restaurants are next door. Hotel staff are friendly and kind. Room is spacious and CLEAN! This will be my second home in LA.

The location was great. The room was large enough, but basic. They have limited parking with VERY narrow spaces. (Street parking was available with limited hours.) There were a few odd hiccups: the hot water in the bathroom sink was turned off, there was no obvious switch to turn off the under bed lights, and the AC was pretty loud. My stay wasn’t awful, but it didn’t rate higher than average.

I won't go into too much detail as this is a family run motel and I don't want to impact their business too much by this review - the owners were very nice people. What I will say is that this is a 2.5 star MOTEL at best, so manage your expectations. Current price is far too expensive for the quality of motel. I was not also impressed with the security measures that were in place - there is nothing that stops a random person from walking through reception (which is unmanned) and directly into the courtyard with access to your suite. There was no safes in my room either. All in all I don't recommend staying here for anything more than $125/night.

Not worth the price you pay

Except that this hotel is at drivable distance to Hollywood Walk of fame etc., it is very basic hotel. They don't even offer complementary water bottles for the price they charge. If you are booking this hotel assuming you can use the sofa bed then don't because it's terrible, one can feel the springs from the mattress.

Cute and modern.

We were comfortable, noise was minimal. Amenities were good. Our only complaint is that parking was a little tricky. Unless you have a tiny car, it can be a challenge fitting into the existing spaces. Despite this, we would definitely visit again.

This is a great spot if you need to be in the area, and don't feel like shelling out for a fancy hotel. Very comfortable, good shower, plenty of space, and walkable to the grove, markets and many dining options.

Modern Motel 6

The room looked nice and clean in a very updated modern look. There are no blackout curtains so at 8 AM. It is very sunny in your room. There is a gap underneath the door that is about 1 inch, this does not help when there are people in the courtyard that are being loud. The room was moderately priced at 150 bucks. Parking is very squishy and only fits about 6 cars.

Only complaint was air was not on when we arrived in room and the room was VERY warm and took a bit to cool down. With the layout of the room and the only mirror being in the bathroom which included the toilet and shower it makes it inconvenient for multi people to get ready at the same time. Would be nice to at least have an additional mirror in the room.
