The staff was great and the breakfast was buffet style and reasonable for the price of the stay. CheapTickets, however, charged my card for the stay and I had chosen pay at the hotel. For this reason I don’t like these third party sites for lodging. The hotels lose, the customer loses and I would rather pay directly. Otherwise, La Quinta San Jose on 4th Street was great! Don’t Jack this up, Cheap Tickets!

Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was well stocked and decent food. Staff were overall friendly, the person who checked us in was the only non friendly person. He didn’t tell us about breakfast or parking and wasn’t helpful. He wasn’t blatantly rude but just wasn’t friendly or helpful at check in. Overall great property.
