I really enjoyed my time here. The pool house itself is charming if a bit quirky. In a tiny footprint they’ve designed it it to live large, with a really high, peaked ceiling making the upstairs bedroom loft feel more like a real bedroom. Big windows bring in lots of sunlight and show off the gorgeous pool. The interior nicely decorated with cheery red gingham curtains in the kitchen, bright flowered throw pillows. The quirky part is the steep staircase/ladder that leads up to the loft—I couldn’t get my carry-on up the stairs, so I simply dressed downstairs, not a problem. The house is well-appointed with everything a guest might need, including sunscreen! Ines left me a few packages of potato chips and 4 bottles of water in the fridge—how thoughtful!
The pool is situated just outside the picture windows, and is gorgeous! It’s surrounded by various seating options—lounge chairs, patio table in the gazebo, garden table poolside. While I didn’t swim , the blue water was beautiful & calming casting rippling translucent shadows on my ceiling in the morning sun.
On a hot summer weekend, I really appreciated two aircons. When I first arrived immediately turned on the one downstairs, then went upstairs to the hot, stuffy bedroom—oh no! I thought, I’ll have to sleep downstairs on the couch where it’s cooled by the AC. But then I noticed a minisplit AC upstairs—YAHOO! I turned it in, let it do its thing, and when I went to bed an hour later, it was a wonderfully cool!
