The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. But it was cold and the thin blanket wasn’t enough. We turned the heat up but the air was dry it was uncomfortable so we turned it off and wore our sweatshirt and sweat pants.

Room was nice looking but noisy. We had an adjoining room & on night 1 we could hear our neighbours talking to each other & slamming the toilet seat. Every time some one walked by and spoke, it was loud. I noticed there was a large gap under the front door and there was no seal. The hide-away bed was creaky & uncomfortable. We were only given a fitted sheet & a heavier blanket so had to call down for another sheet Fridge was nice & big but was cranked to high & was barely cold enough for our milk products. Bathroom was nice, with good water pressure but shower door did not seal well so we always ended up with water up to the toilet. Room attendant staff were wonderful people, & We admit we were late to leave our rooms pretty much every morning; however, we always had to ask for something that evening or the next day (coffee, didn’t bother for the one day of water, shampoo, liquid soap for shower was empty for 2 days). That being said our room always looked nice. Minor issue: One day our pillow cases barely fit the pillows. I doubt pillows get washed after each person’s stay so it grosses me out that while sleeping we might have been touching someone else’s face. Fortunately when the staff knew about being short on sheets for the hide-away, they brought extra sheets so I covered the pillows There was only one microwave on the 1st floor/ we needed it for our kid’s medications so it was a pain. There is an automatic 20% tip for all food, including take out.

Easy check in and check out. Staff were really nice. Room is okay but could be cleaner. Mattress is too soft for me. Complimentary starbucks coffee beans is great. Best part is the complimentary shuttle service to Universal Studios every 15mins, service hours is the same hours as the park hours and last trip is 1hr after the park closes.
