Very nice and friendly front desk staff, although it was obvious they were short handed for a back to back nfl game weekend. Big gripes with the room were housekeeping staff in the morning talking up and down the hallway (loud enough to hear throughout the floor) for at least an hour straight. Walls seem to have zero sound insulation as It seemed like they were inside our bathroom. Second big gripe with all hotels that do this… the barn door idea for a tiny hotel room is foolish… nobody enjoys that scenario on either end of the door. Put in a real door end let people have some privacy for Christ's sake. It’s not ‘hip’.

From the beginning a very slow check in process with untrained staff. Staff unsure to which rooms was cleaned and not clean. Sure enough was given a room in which I walked in and it was OCCUPIED. Very disorganized system. Pick ANY other hotel and do yourself a favor.

security was always watching the lobby. doors would be locked after a certain time and they always made sure we were good. staff was super accommodating and attentive. the pick up spot for uber is so easy. but they also have valet parking if you have a rental or what not. restaurant literally right downstairs which is so convenient. close to the kia forum so it’s perfect if you’re going for a concert. intuit dome right next to it as well if you’re into sports. they also store your luggage for you if needed. only complaint i have is that we stayed for a week and asked to have our room cleaned and we would always flip the sign on our door asking them to tidy up and they never did. so it was frustrating by the end of the week having all the trash and dirty towels built up it just felt gross but at that point we had 1 night left and nothing was ever cleaned not one time the whole week after asking multiple times. we would leave for the day in hopes to come back to a cleaned room and it never happened. besides that everything was perfect.

I asked for king bed and we got a full size bed that was very uncomfortable for 2 people. There was no toilet paper in our room and when I asked the front desk for some they said they did not have a key and I would have to come back.

Staff were extremely rude and offensive. Not helpful at all. Rooms were a mess without any trashcans lights were out, the front door was cracked and not sealed as well as the bathroom. Was charged fees I wasn’t told about before hand. Overall, my stay was not enjoyable due to the awful customer service I experienced and the room condition.

Fantastic location next to SOFI! The attached restaurant was a great amenity - great food and service. The pool area was beautiful, and worth bringing a bathing suit as it was heated. Unfortunately our ground floor room had a sliding glass door that opened directly to the parking lot and valet stand for the restaurant in front. Therefor we had to keep the curtains closed and it was very noisy. Plus we could not open the door or go outside because there were crowds of people right outside our door. We asked if we could change rooms and we were told there was a $200/night upgrade fee, which was more than the room. I didn't see an option to upgrade or choose a room when booking, but if you stay here I would recommend asking not to be on the ground floor in front of the restaurant and parking lot. There are only a handful of rooms there. It wasn't quite the romantic anniversary trip we had planned! Otherwise the room was small, cute, and clean. We only had one towel and no shampoo, no glasses or water provided, and didn't get housekeeping while we were there (not sure if it comes with the stay?). Looks like they were going through some growing pains changing to Hilton because the computer system was down so it took quite a while to check in and they could not give me a receipt or tell me my charges when checking out. I'm sure that will improve over time.

If you’re planning to watch an event at SoFi Stadium or Intuit Dome this is the perfect hotel. However bring your earplugs since you’re in the flight path of LAX. And being one of the busiest airports in America flights never stop. The on site restaurant is good although expensive. And now Lüm is part of the Hilton brand. Would I stay here again? Yes but probably only for game day.

Worst check in experience ever!
Worst check in experience in all my years of travel. Incorrect room type then a room that had not been made up or cleaned. Later that night the keys wouldn’t work so went down to have them reactivated. Still didn’t work. Found out it was because they still had us registered to the room that had not been made up or cleaned. They offered me a Lüm Hotel clear bag with some chocolate candies for all my trouble.
