Art Deco style of the period. Restaurant menu and quality not very good.
The Queen Mary is a very unique experience, like stepping back in time. The room was not at all like the pictures shown when booking, the only amenity was a TV. The room was stuffy and warm. You could open the porthole but there are no screens so mosquitos and other bugs come right in. There were quite a few dining options on the ship, which were quite good.
Checking in was a breeze, hotel staff were super friendly which makes me think it was a great place to work. The ship itself was an amazing trip back in time. Beautiful ambience with an amazing history. Could’ve stayed two nights with all there was to see and peruse the ship. Loved the room. Previously read about the unpredictable water and AC but our visit in room A113 was fine. Thank you for an incredible visit. The next morning we exited the ship and walked on the Carnival Firenze for a 7day Mexico cruise.
The haunted house/carnival was going on during our stay so the hotel itself was a bit inconvenient to enjoy. Enjoyable experience otherwise, not really close to anything so eating on site is easiest but $$$
The fire alarm went off at 2:00a.m. and we ALL had to evacuate into the cold early morning. Old and young, babies and pets why out there and waited for the all clear.
So annoying and disheartening. But other than that the bedroom and bath were very nice!
For a 90 year old ship it was awesome. If you want updated you are on the wrong ship. Was it worth the stay, oh yes it was. Lots of fun walking around the ship. The bar was awesome, great music and atmosphere.
This is an amazing old boat. Not ruined by renovations. Very unique experience. Walls are paper thin but they have earplugs. Do not book from the number on their website, I tried and they got all my information wrong, then I tried to call the number to fix but couldn’t get through (bad connection, they couldn’t hear me etc) so I had to cancel but although it was within 24hrs of booking and I was told I could get a full refund I later saw I still lost 300$. I would try to get money back but can’t contact them.

The rooms are for sure noisy if you have anyone next to you the walls are paper thin. The vibe of the rooms is pretty fun and really authentic. Beds were comfy and the food was excellent.
