I got robbed of $200, 2 credit cards, and my second cellphone. I kept them in my luggage, but probably housekeeper stole my belongings during the cleaning. I heard this hotel is 5 stars rated, but it is 0 star rated. Actually I don't wanna give them even 1 star. Definetely, this is the worst hotel in my whole life. I'll never stay here again.

The location is great, rooms spacious and comfortable, however my room was not cleaned for two consecutive days, when i complained the person in charge said they could not oblige the staff to clean rooms which was inacceptable. They offered me to reimburse ine hotel night through expedia, i am still waiting for the refund.

The hotel is very convenient, huge with a lot of amenities. The room was a bit small. The staff were so friendly. The view from the room was amazing. Walkable distance from a lot of attractions and transportation.

Disappointing Stay - Not as Advertised I recently stayed at the Westin in downtown California and was quite disappointed with the experience. First off, the carpet in the room was noticeably dirty, which made the entire space feel less than clean. I expected better from a hotel of this caliber. Secondly, the rooms were much smaller than they appeared on the Expedia website. It felt cramped, and the layout didn’t help make the space feel comfortable. The shower was nothing like the pictures. On the website, it looked modern and spacious, but in reality, it was small and outdated, the overall bathroom experience was a letdown. The hotel lobby was beautiful it looked like a resort hotel when you walk in but the rooms need renovations, having carpet throughout the hallways and rooms were disgusting to say the least because imagine how much dirt is embedded in that carpet, it was so difficult to roll your suitcases. Mario the front desk manager was very helpful and upgraded me to a suite however, but the carpet stains in the suite were horrific. My main problem was the bathroom, I am such a shower freak about how my bathroom looks, the pictures online was not what I walked into at the Westin Bonaventure. Overall, the hotel did not live up to the expectations set by the online listing. For the price, I expected a much better experience. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you’re planning a stay in downtown California.
