Hollywood Volume: Activated 🌟
From the moment we arrived, the vibes were immaculate—pure LA magic. The energy? Electric. The aesthetic? Instagram gold. But while the ambiance delivered, the overnight stay had a few plot twists.
Let’s start with the room: stylish, yes—but functionally challenged. The bathroom setup didn’t lend itself to comfort , especially for an overnight stay. A magnetic hold to keep the bar-style door open would’ve been a game-changer. While there were a few hanging hooks and drawer space cleverly tucked beneath the bed (a thoughtful touch), the lack of a full closet made storing luggage and outfits feel more like a backstage scramble than a luxury stay.
Now for the culinary highlights:
🌮 Kateen’s Taco Tuesday was a total triumph—flavor-packed bites and bar service that hit every mark.
☕ The Coffee Bar served up an espresso martini that was chef’s kiss—smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced.
🍨 We capped the night at the Desert Spot, which was fun in spirit but fizzled in flavor. The Prosecco tasted budget-tier, and the Mexican Mule missed the mix—flat, unbalanced, and forgettable.
Overall, the experience had star power, but the supporting cast (room amenities and drink quality upstairs) could use a rewrite. Still, the setting and service in key moments made it a scene worth remembering.
