Riu needs to advertise this property as Adults. You should not be mixing family stays with adult party stays. Riu has an Adult hotel next door, they need to take pool parties and exercise drinking over there. We saw people with babies in flotation devices at the swim up bar. In the US I would of called children services.

Me and my wife went to celebrate her birthday. And if partying is what you like then this is the place to book it was not stop partying and good vibes . Food is basically all buffet style not the best food but it’s passable

Fantastic all inclusive resort. So many food options , entertainment options and stuff to keep the kids entertained. Location is wonderful, staff are friendly and the food is yummy. The water park is a plus and there is so many things to do around the resort. Highly recommend

The new renovations are beautiful as this is our second time at this property. I was here before and now after and it was exceptional. Only thing is there should be a few more options at the buffet dinner. And I was told they take anymore reservations for the restaurants and when I went last night I was told it was fully booked. I really wanted to experience the steakhouse and I couldn’t. I walked over to the Italian restaurant and same thing. Other than that it was a great experience.

During my stay, I was physically assaulted by a male guest and his family. They attempted to drown me in the pool, motivated by homophobic behavior, and one of them spat in my girlfriend’s face. There was no security present, and other guests had to intervene to pull the individual off me. When management became involved, they only removed the male guest from the premises, allowing the rest of the family to stay. This incident occurred on the second day of my stay. Given the trauma and the lack of safety I experienced, I requested to be transferred to another Riu facility. However, the facility refused to accommodate this request unless I paid an additional fee. I also asked the facility to contact the police so that the individual could be held accountable, but they refused to do so. I will never return to this property and will be filing a formal complaint with the tourism board regarding this unacceptable treatment and lack of action.

Our stay was excellent. We enjoyed the resort. It was very clean and staff was great. I liked the resort has something for all ages and events going on everyday. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
