About this property

Campsite #11 Enchanted Forest Redwood Mountain Retreat

No trash service! Pack out your trash!
No camp fire, drugs/smoke, loud music/noise, quiet hour 10p-8a
Well shaded, shares one stairs with site 7
4-6 people, 1 car. Extra car $15/day, pet $10/day
1 picnic table
Bathrooms with hot water shower
Utility shed sink with natural spring water, hot water
45 acre redwood, campground, outdoor amphitheater, hiking trails, creeks, small waterfall, deer, turkey, owl
Paved road, 20 min to LG downtown, 25 min to Santa Cruz

Site 7 and site 11 share the same stairs going down, site 7 is on the left side and site 11 is on the right side. Park by the road or park in the parking area by the Men's bathroom.

If you have to bring a 2nd car, let the host know and $15/day parking fee will be charged manually. It's very expensive to maintain the paved road, and our neighbors had lots of complaints about too much traffic due to the campers coming so we have to minimize the cars as much as possible.

Bring and setup your own tent. No tent provided.

Winter Rain Season Parking Warning! Try to park close to the paved road and do NOT park where it's muddy!

Our water is from a natural spring.
We are in the rural mountains and woods so overall it is pretty rustic!
It's tick season in the spring and summer, watch out for ticks and use protection (insect repellant) as needed.

We have a main trail on our 45 acre. The head of the main trail is right by the red Main House, just follow the paved the road down and it will become dirt road at campsite 12. It's about 45min to 1hr hike down to the end where the Amaya creek serves the boundary to the neighbor's property. On the main trail there is also a small waterfall, but it is not visible from the trail, you have to go off the trail on the left side to find it. I put pink ribbon on the tree there, but at other spots too so may not be the best sign.
Enjoy hiking, creeks and small water fall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing (deer, turkey, owl etc), star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more.
Make yourself comfortable in your accommodation. The bathroom has a shower.

We enjoyed how most camping spots offered a good amount of privacy. I would recommend arriving in daylight. We arrived just after sunset and it was difficult to navigate in the dark having never been there before. It was a shame we couldn't have a fire, but the hike on the property was lovely.

Great Camping place
Stayed at camp site 7 and 11. Da best because we had great time and the area is private and surrounded by redwood trees. Hiking was excellent, parking was great, children had great time hiking and playing hide and seek - they found a lake with fish and salamander.
