Easy walking distance from the equip Expo but 3 to many cockroaches for my liking

Prepare for little sleep, as planes, trains and truck/trailers pass by throughout the night. Great water pressure in the shower though. Much needed after a sleepless night!

Motel 6 inconvenience and roaches
It took 15 or more minutes to check in and a call to the manager. Then there was roaches in the room. I told front desk when checking out and she changed the topic to the situation of trouble checking in.

Do not stay here.
We booked 3 nights for a business trip at the event center near by. Just trying to check in was a nightmare. They gave us one room, the door was dead, gave us another room, that was also dead. Gave us the original room back. Then every time we left and came back we had to have our keys reprogrammed because they tried to give our room away. We had someone try to come in the room cause they were assigned the room while we were in it. We found a cockroach in the bathroom also. They also called 3 separate times, one of those times being 9:30 PM to the room to confirm which room we were in. Absolutely would never stay there again.

PICK ANOTHER LOCATION
Check-in staff saying area was 'unsafe' was not welcoming! Highway noise was UNREAL and constant LOUD hummmmm in bathroom was super annoying. End up putting in earbuds to get sleep. Lighting was very low. Tiny soap bars was 'cheesey' to shower with. No nearby places to eat dinner.

When I checked into my room it smelled like cigarette smoke, I got my room changed. But, on the last day right before check-out I seen not 1 but 5 roaches!! They seemed to come from the vent in the bathroom but not quite sure. Two was in the bathroom and one was crawling on the wall outside of the bathroom. The other two was by the door when I walked back into my room. I was beyond disgusted.

Friendly staff and super close to airport
The staff was very accommodating, and helpful. The room was comfortable, and better than it looked from the outside. I was very skeptical when I pulled up to the hotel. However I was pleased. My room key stopped working the first night and it was well after midnight by the time I got back to my room. Turned out the battery for the lock needed to be replaced. Since I was in town for a conference I didn’t spend much time in the room. However I had to be let in every night for 3 nights bc the battery for the lock had not been replaced. As a woman, coming back to your room after 1am and having to be let in your room was very unsettling. But like I said the staff was accommodating and very apologetic for it. I slept ok considering you can hear the FedEx and UPS aircraft landing and taking off.

Very friendly staff. Quick check in. A little bug problem the first night, which honestly I expect every hotel/apartment to be constantly having to deal with. It was very quickly handled by staff.
