I gave this hotel an 3 because upon check-in, the front desk person didn’t make sure the room keys were activated. This caused me to haul the luggage cart, which was full of luggage, backpacks, etc., back down to the lobby to get my room key activated, and my sister, who was trying to access the underground parking garage, couldn’t get into the garage and had to call for assistance. Nor did the front desk person give me information on the breakfast time nor the WiFi password. On the flip side, the location of this hotel is perfect. It’s right across the street from the Citadel, and is easily within walking distance of the Museum of the Atlantic and the Halifax boardwalk. It’s also extremely close to many other sites you would want to see.
