This was a beautiful place to stay, more like an apartment with full kitchen, dining space, lots of room. The owners were wonderful. On the off season, there aren't many restaurants open in the area, which we knew, so we brought supplies to make some simple meals and also found some delicious cod at the IGA in Lubec. We saw a lovely sunrise from the balcony about 6am, when the lobster boats were getting ready to go out, will stay here again!

The setting as well as the home itself are spectacular! The house is cozy, has everything you can think of, and the views are stunning! Our kids had a blast playing in the marsh at low tide- it is like a different world. We really loved this stay and hope to return again.

Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at the house- soaking in the views, getting out on our kayaks and taking in the ever-changing tides, wildlife & scenery. And the QUIET; maybe the quietest place we have ever been. We were also treated to 2 nights of the Aurora Borealis, which were absolutely stunning! This is a very special & magical place and we will be back, hopefully sooner than later.

We had a really lovely stay. It was a great home base for exploring the bold coast area. Watching the sunrise from the beach (which you can access by a sweet path) is a must do. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This is wonderful little town and this house was fantastic. We have a handicap son in a power wheelchair and he was able to move around in and outside of the house with ease and shower in the roll in shower. Felicia was so helpful and a joy to meet. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to come to Maine that wants to stay in a much quieter and less busy place than towns near Acadia National Park. We took one day to drive to the park and explore and eat and then came back to relax in our rental. We ate at the Fisherman's Wharf and it was delicious The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone we met while visiting Lubec was so nice and friendly. We had a wonderful time!

Very charming home, nice location, Great deck for sunsets and relaxing. Cozy and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay.
