Just OK.
The hotel is in a great location for touring Lucerne and the old town. Three of the four front desk staff were amazing to deal with but one was somewhat crusty and not very friendly. The room was quite dark…we needed to use our phone flashlight to see the coffee maker. Bathroom shower had mold along the edges. The room definitely needed a refresh of paint etc. The hallways made us feel like we were staying in a hostel or a college dorm. Better colours and a few paintings would help make it more inviting.

The location from the train station was easily walkable as was the Chapel Bridge and Jesuit church. There was an abundance if restaurants nearby. The hotel beds were very comfortable and the room was pretty spacious.

Central location so very noisy. There does not seem to be air con so can get hot but if you leave window open it is very noisy. One night they seemed to be servicing the lift at around 5.30am in the morning which sounded like loud crashes. Would not stay here unless you can sleep through loud noises.

Possibilities
Room needed a little tlc. Shower curtain needed replaced, coffee pot didnt function, knob missing ona drawer. We had the only room on the 5th floor with direct access to the roof patio. Could have been an excellent patio with ambience but it really needed work. Plants, flowers or at least clean the gutters from plant growth and weeds.

Great location! Our room was hot. Only welcoming staff was the young gentleman in the afternoon/evening. Morning front desk help was arrogant and rude and so was the lady in restaurant for breakfast so we ate elsewhere.

Great location! Walking distance to the train station and marina. Clean rooms. However... be aware, there is no AC!!! Also hard to find if you’re driving. The hotel is located in the walking area.
