Our stay started with a strange check in method. The tools available in the app were not used and it was only through messaging that the check in process happened. We were given a code with instructions on how to open and lock the door and nothing else. There were no house rules, instructions, how to’s, or personal recommendations for any activities or dining in the area. There are some flyers that could just as easily be picked up at a rest area. Once we got in the cabin we were initially stunned by the vast number of decorations which later we realized severely detracted from our stay. The clutter is so bad that there is literally no place to put your clothes or luggage other than the couches in the living room. All other cabinets or dressers were occupied as storage for yet more decorations. At this point the cuteness of the decorations had worn off and we started to see the multitude of flaws: disorganized kitchen with some of the dishes and silverware dirty, several pieces of furniture appear as if they were pulled from the roadside and “repaired”, the arm of one of the couches was broken and covered to hide the flaw, the front door doesn’t seal, and the back door is missing part of the frame (but it is okay, they painted under where it normally goes and mounted the back door safety latch there). The bed is far from comfortable and a good nights sleep will not be had in it unless it is chemically induced. We paid for two nights and stayed one. I would not recommend.
