all was good. I had a room with a window to internal court, so it was very quite. nice breakfast. water pressure in the shower could be higher, but the rest was pretty good.

I'm going to be absolutely straight; I just spent 25 days all over Spain. Stayed in 7 hotels; 5 of the 7 were Eurostars hotels. It could be the culture of the hotel chain or the Spanish culture itself, but the experience in the Eurostars hotels was second to none.

I would personally not stay at this hotel unless there was no other option. It looks great on the outside very nice lobby however the room is extremely uncomfortable, the beds are hard as a rock they’re cheap, no pillow top you can feel the springs but worst of all is the climate control you have a Thermostat that is unlike a Thermostat I’ve ever seen you cannot control the Temperature of the room if it’s too cold you have to turn the unit off when you get hot you have to wake up and turn the unit on I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they said oh well that’s our system that’s how it works and we tell you that when you check in, no they didn’t tell me that when I checked in. To add insult to injury I asked for a thicker pillow and what they brought me was a nasty old pillow and I only realized that when I felt really uncomfortable sleeping that night they had two pillowcases over an original dingy yellow pillow that they tried to disguise with two new pillowcases. The hotel is in a good location but like I said earlier there are a lot better options and hotels that take your comfort seriously. Unfortunately a lot of the hotels in Europe don’t compare to a standard room in the United States. Their mattresses are cheap and it doesn’t seem like they changed them very often.

Great hotel
Very comfortable and well situated hotel. Comfortable bed, clean room and very quiet at night. Good water pressure in shower. Breakfast was great! Good gluten free options. Great front desk service.

In spite of the hotel name of Plaza Mayor, it was a bit of a hike into the Plaza Mayor. That being said, the hotel was centrally located and most attractions were within walking distance. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The available options on the TV was quite limited, however. There was no CNN International, for example. And one thing that really bugged us was that many of the buttons on the remote did not work, which made navigating the channels rather tedious. That was annoying. We also thought the hotel was way overpriced.

Great stay would recommend.
Great stay at the hotel. The room was clean and decorated well. Kettle and coffee available. Unfortunately no English breakfast tea or milk. Start getting to breakfast early otherwise they don't replenish stock. Breakfast finished at 11 and we went down at 10 and anything that had run out wasn't replaced so there were a few things we couldn't have.

I recently stayed at this centrally located hotel, which is within walking distance of major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, the overall experience fell short of basics you would expect from a 4* hotel, especially for the €250 per night as a Platinum Hotels.com customer. The carpark beneath the hotel is convenient but expensive, it doesn't belong to the hotel to be fair. Unfortunately, the hotel had several issues: The hallways were dark, the lift was out of order, and I found ants in my bathroom. Accessing the garage was also problematic, with no lights, forcing me to use my phone’s torch. For the price, the hotel did not meet expectations at all.
