I really want to give a 5 star rating because it is a great building with an excellent staff. Problems cause me to instead award four stars. There was some sort of construction going on, the elevators were problematic and the AC was poor.

We had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and provided information about the main attractions in Madrid. The hotel is located at a walking distance from the Royal Palace and othe attractions. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much and would highly recommend it.

Once inside the Hotel, you can tell it’s remodeled to a new hotel, but the outside area is being worked on. Also, that A\C will never reach 18C and I had to call the front desk twice, at first I was told the A/C does not work if the temp outside is cold, told to open the windows, but then there was lots of traffic noise, called back to find out at what temp do they not turn on the A/C for the building, and he did not know and just offered to send to fix the A/C tech, once it was working, then all was perfect, how can the front desk not inform the customer they have sensors that if your not in the room the AC does not work, also if you open the windows, the AC also shuts off, wasted an hour trying to figure out the system when a simple explanation would have just made it perfect. Besides that, great location, and perfect to make it to the airport from there also, 1 hour on the metro and we made it to terminal T4 for international flights.
