Bathroom floor was not clean.
Our bathroom had hair all over the floor where they clearly had not cleaned. That was gross. An outlet in the bathroom would be nice. There was a fire nearby that night and the smoke in our room was terrible all night.
Excellent property
But they need to get air conditioning and improve assistance for people with disability’s
We found right across Ireland and nth Ireland assistance at hotels was poor and accessibility was also poor .
Even though we were provided assistance with bags by the bell man he did it reluctantly
If you improve these two items your facility would be more comfortable.
In a wonderful area that is very quiet. The staff was so very friendly. The park nearby offers some great hiking/walking adventures. We loved it. Would definitely stay again. We read somewhere that is was a 3 minute walk from the Dalkey Station, which is inaccurate, but was walkable. Wouldn't really want to do it again dragging luggage along. Easy enough for day trips to and from the station. The 59 bus has a stop right outside the property as well.
We loved the balconies and views from our 5th floor bayside rooms. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of selections. The nearby bus station was a convenient way to get from the hotel to the Dublin area or to the local trains.
There was an issue with one of the shower handles in one room, which is the only reason for not giving 5 stars across the board. Hopefully it will be fixed for the next guest. Overall, a fabulous place to stay!
Happy to find a hidden gem outside of the busy Dublin area but close enough to see all the sites and beautiful mountain areas around. Highly recommend if you like smaller coastal vibes.

The lobby and reception areas are beautiful and welcoming. The room we stayed in had a great view of the sea but the windows and sill needed a good clean. Some of the furniture was in poor condition, limited channels on the
Tv and the door rattled throughout a stormy night. However, a comfortable bed and high ceilings made up for any issues.
This would be a great place to take a family. I would take a cab/taxi next time up the hill as it was a hard walk. But the property is bel and worth the effort.
We had a balcony and a few options, which were lovely. Definitely, would return
I always enjoy staying at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. Was a bit disappointed the outdoor terrace pizza and drinks bar was not open during week but still an enjoyable stay
Lovely hotel, very quiet. Staff were all friendly and helpful, room was very comfy and clean. Short walk to killiney hill which has beautiful views over the coast line.
Arrived for a 1 night stay with family. After a 6.30pm checkin it was literally impossible to get food in any of the bars or restaurants...a staff member even recommended we go elsewhere. Reverted to room service and turned out the menu in the room was not the correct one and the kitchen was serving another menu...bizarre. on the upside, breakfast next morning was very good.
It’s a beautiful property that is within walking distance to the small town of Dalkey. The staff was more than accommodating and my family had a great time visiting.
Was a real treat to stay in the older portion of this castle hotel. Our room had the lavish yet elegant decor as well and modern amenities.
It was a bit of a walk up the flights of stairs to the room but a room worthy of the effort with beautiful views over the grounds.
