Lovely hotel
It was so amazing. The room is so lovely, beautiful and clean. I appreciate that the hotel impressed us with the anniversary decoration and cake that we have requested in our room. We will definitely come back to this hotel. It's very quiet :)

Nice property, very clean near the Ferry, airport and most of the signs. Market, fish market etc. There is construction going but does not affect your stay. great restaurants near by. Friendly helpful staff.

Excellent overnight stay!
Hotel was perfect for a 1 night stay after arriving into Male before travelling onwards to our island destination the next day. The hotel is super easy to get to. Either by the hotel airport taxi or via the water taxi, which is located outside. We opted for the water taxi which is only $1 person and drops you into Male. The hotel is then a very short 2 min walk away. We arrived to a welcome drink and cold towels. Our rooms were available early and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and tidy and a very good size. There was plenty of amenities available and free water. The breakfast the next day was a selection of fresh fruit and pastries as well as a small selection of hot food including an omelette station with a chef. Overall for the price paid the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Would recommend and stay here again if back in Male. The only slight negative was that there was building work in the area at the time. This is not the hotels fault but did mean that if you were looking to stay in bed longer than based 8am. You would likely be disturbed.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. But there was some kind of construction going on outside our room. It was outrageously loud and we didn't sleep AT ALL. We were only there for 6 hours to sleep in between flights but we were miserable and up all night.

The staff were lovely, kind and considerate. Breakfast was tasty. No evening menu, just snack type food e.g sandwiches, pasties. The room was fine but no balcony and I was handed ear plugs in case of building noise ( there wasn’t any when I was there) There was a really nice roof terrace, full of flowers and plants and a nice sea view. I wouldn’t ever return to the Maldives. Gulhi, Maafushi and Male were basically building sites.

The staff was friendly but hotel conditions can be improved. No hot water in the shower in the morning. Also the room was clean but low quality.Staff tried to help but we were waiting for our luggage to bring to the room for ages. Also staff had organized very late departure to our next destination and we lost couple hours of our holidays.Breakfast was excellent above the expectations. We came at midnight to hotel 6 hours to sleep reasonable price to pay compare to other hotels.

The Marukab Plaza hotel is beautiful. If you need somewhere to stay close to Malé airport look no further. It is only 5-7 minute drive away. The staff was waiting to pick us up. They were so friendly and gracious. There is also a Chicking restaurant just a 5 minute walk down the street from the hotel.
