This is a very cute little house! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

We LOVED this house so much. Everything was perfect and Rose was so quick to answer any questions that I had. The beds were comfy and the fireplace was a nice touch. It was cold, so we made a campfire and made smores. It was a great place to make memories with my kids and grandkids who were with us.There were only two small negatives that I even hate to bring up but might be big for someone else. The dirt road is long and rough and you will have to carry your trash out with you. For us, our cars were packed full, so we had to hang the bags out of the window until we got to a trash dumpster.

The owners were very kind and helpful from the very beginning. Being this was our first time ever staying at any kind of rented cabin/home, they made it easy. I'm very outdoorsy and enjoy seclusion and this fit the bill. While off the beaten path a little I appreciated that. It was for my wife and I's 26th Anniversary and I wanted to surprise her with a getaway but with one that I could enjoy as well. She was very pleased with my choice. The cabin is very cozy and quaint but still has a serene comfort with the gas log fireplace, or the large deck overlooking the river with the relaxing sound of the water. Steps leading right down to the waters edge allowed fishing although we didn't manage to catch anything. We found ourselves mostly listening to Praise & Worship music on the sound system, and playing games and enjoying each others conversation and time away together. The trains across the river might seem like an annoyance to some, but brought back memories of my wife and I's first house together when we lived in Nebraska that was much closer to the tracks than this cabin. We didn't make use of the kayaks provided as was concerned with the water temperature with the nights dipping into the 40's during our stay. All in all was a very memorable experience and would be delighted to stay with them again in the future!

This cabin is in good condition. It has a front and back porch. It is secluded with woods on three sides. It has a DT Market nearby and a grocery store and Walmart a few miles away. Host was very helpful. Cabin is well stocked. Best I’ve ever seen.

It's a beautiful cabin and the owners are very responsive and helpful! My only complaint has nothing to do with the property or owners, but the noise from the park (which is across the road...awesome if you have kids in tow!) in the late evening/early night is a little irritating (not kids playing but people meeting up with systems thumping and revving engines), but it tapered off by 10-11PM. So if you are an early bird like me I recommend bringing a sound machine, fan, or ear plugs! Other than that it was a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning in the future!

Found this little gem coming into the area last minute. The Owner was available for questions and assistance if needed, very friendly. Cute little fishing cabin, the train may bother some people but I was not bothered. I only stayed a night, so I am looking forward to staying longer my next visit.
