Loved this location! A little difficult to find, but once you are there it's easy to come and go. Maybe better signage on property giving directions to "check-in" would be helpful. The property is very large and beautiful. We especially loved the dogs that live there. The room was rustic and cute. The breakfast was also decent. Would love to have been able to stay here more than one night passing through. Also, only about a 10 minute drive to the hot springs.
The only negative was the bed. Like many places in Italy, a queen size bed is two twin size mattresses, which is a little uncomfortable. Normally they are put together on a larger bed frame. In this case, it's two twin frames pushed together. Because of this, the bed kept separating at night and we would wake to an 6+ inch gap in the middle of the bed with only the sheet preventing you from falling through. I think we got up 3 times to push it back together before giving up. My suggestion is for the hotel to get a new single frame, or find a way to last the two beds together.
