Check in was a bit slow and the front desk could answer questions on WiFi or how to get to a place that sold SIM cards. However, two staff members in particular stepped up and even put the WiFi router in our room. The restaurant was also solid. It is a bit out of the way, which was nice for us.

Staff was lovely,. Room was in disrepair. Peeling paint, stains on wall and ripped upholstery. I expected a bit more upscale. The bed sheets were clean and that was the most important thing!
My stay was not bad. You need to renovate your rooms. The bedding, curtains; floors (carpet was dirty ). The matress was making noise. Some of the sheets are old. Let there be someone who shows people the facilities beside the room where they are sleeping. The security lady was very friendly. The breakfast was not bad if you can just introduce a healthier one with fruits; cheese etc.
Well it was not what i have seen in the internet we slept in global village 2 didnt like it at all

Decent nights stay
The location is good. Overall the guesthouse is clean & tidy. The staff are lovely. Our room was not that clean though. The bed was fine & comfortable. But there was an old chicken bone on a saucer, chewed gum on the bedside cabinet & dead cockroaches in the room & bathroom. We won't be staying there again.
We were extremely disappointed with the hotel. The rooms was not in the main building and it was far away from the main hotel. It seemed like it was in a house that was still under construction. There was no internet service, no hot water and the heating did not work. It was quite secluded.
The staff was nice and tried to accommodate our needs but they were limited in what they could do to change things for us. They let us use the bathroom in the main location for a hot shower/bath except the bathrooms there also did not have a shower. There was a bath tub with no hand held shower and we had to use a glass to take a shower.
The staff was very friendly especially Nomfundo they surely know how to make guests feel at home, considering our last minute booking we still managed to reschedule our bbooking with no extra cost

Poor wifi
Poor wifi connections and poor check out procedures
I stayed at the Global Village for a few days while I was visiting Swaziland in November. The staff was awesome! I was traveling alone and did not have any connections in the city. The manager, Mimi, took the greatest care of me and arranged transportation anytime I needed to go anywhere.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, the restaurant served very good meals, and everyone was extremely friendly.
I would highly recommend the Global Village if you find yourself in need of a place to stay in Manzini.
Nice place clean & tidy the only thing staff are not that friendly they make you feel not welcomed even getting scared to ask for service(not all)

Great staff
The hotel was overbooked...I actually read this in another review so was no surprise when they sent us to GV2. I was not deterred as the previous over booking they were pleasantly surprised so were we. Much bigger room and private. Staff at GV2 were amazing. Hope GV reads this as they hosted us perfectly.
The staff is friendly and the room was clean (though a shower curtain would help). Note that Global Village is (at least) three buildings, spread out over a quiet residential neighborhood. Coming back at night our taxi took us to #2 by mistake. The night guard was kind enough to walk us to another building, but it was #3. Another guard then walked us to #1. Almost amusing, but something to watch out for.
