We stayed for 1 night in a room with 2 queen beds. Beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom, although a little bit older, was fairly clean, except for the door which was actually sticky and grimy. But overall everything was clean and well maintained. The neighbourhood and hotel feels very safe. The hotel is right across the street from the ocean, and there's a train track that lies between the ocean and the hotel. We saw at least one Amtrak train go by, and then heard two freight trains in the night, and the building shook with that. The underground parking was well lit, safe, and immaculate. Staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee in the cafe was excellent. Definitely worth staying here, even if you have to drive a bit extra: it's worth it for a safe area and it's also very nice to be right on the ocean.

My initial experience with property was really bad, we booked a room with king bed with kitchenette and microwave specifically because of personal reasons and we were couples. We also informed them about late check in and early check out so literally we were there in the hotel only for 10 - 11hours.but all my experience was bad. They gave us the room where the toilet wasnt working as soon as we flushed the water was over flowing from toilet. After informing they made us to wait for 15 mins and asked us to go to lobby and get a new room keys. The new room they gave was with twin beds, no microwave, no water kettle for tea, no kitchenette, no balcony nothing me and wife slept separate. They waived of my parking fee thats it. When i asked them about the microwave they told if you want to heat up your food you should go to lobby give my food to receptionists she will heat up.so whenever i want my food to be warm i need to come down from 3rd floor to heat my food. When i asked for hot water they informed that i should come down to get it, thats ridiculous. When i informed about inconvenience they said we were sorry i can't give discount on your price because you paid from third party expedia i thought booking from Expedia gives more assurance but turns out to be curse. Atleast they could have given ocean view room but the room i booked atleast had balcony the one i got didn't even had one.

You at the beach. Gotta cross a RR track to get to the water. No beach per se but a great walk way to the rock and pier about 20 min walk. At low tide lots of sand showing. Comfy bed. Good management, they charge for parking but you could street park. A secure lot but I see no threat in the area. There is lots that charge. Not much to do or shop. Nice walking area but don’t think I would spend a long time here.
