Come relax in our Marathon Oasis...This calm, comfortable and modern updated home is a 2/2 with a great open room floor plan in a quiet neighborhood. If tranquility is what you are looking for...look no further. The home exudes serenity. You can enjoy your morning coffee out back, take a dip in the pool or just lounge around and read a book or do nothing at all. You can even fish off the dock or bring your boat too.

Located at MM 52, the home is less than 5 miles to Sombrero Beach, Publix/Winn Dixie, Home Depot, West Marine, a deli/liquor store, many restaurants, and the public boat ramp at the Vaca Cut MM54. The house has an open floor plan, glass door wall, private pool, a lovely outside seating area, and lots of parking for your car(s) and boat trailer. There is also a propane gas grill, washer/dryer, chaise lounge chairs, pool noodles and floats, and storage space for your convenience.

For the avid fisherman/woman our home is located on a deep water canal only 6 houses in from the Open Atlantic with direct Ocean access to the Coast Guard marked channel with no canals to navigate! The 75' concrete dock* comes with a fish cleaning station with running water and in the garage you'll find a Bait Freezer & Rod Holders as well. Snorkeling, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding or Shallow Water Fishing is accessible right at the end of the canal. We also have a floating dock for ease accessing the water to board your kayak or paddle board. If diving is your thing you'll find ample storage in the garage for all your equipment and plenty of dive sites to explore.

Amenities: Inside you will be pleased to find a European Kitchen with White Quartz counter top, Gagganeu Appliances, Sub-Zero Refrigerator, Keurig Coffee Maker, Laundry Room with washer & dryer, iron & ironing board. The living room is equipped with a 65'' Samsung TV, DVD player and Bose Wave radio. The fireplace sitting area has a great view of the canal. The Master has a King with new Tempurpedic mattress, 42'' flat panel TV and en suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen and Full XL, both with a 12" Cool Gel memory foam mattress and TV (DVD player and game console in closet).

A local land line is provided as well as free secured high speed internet/Wifi, expanded cable for your entertainment pleasure, and a color printer at the corner desk overlooking the pool area while browsing the web.

The house has central A/C and ceiling fans throughout. The kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, touch-less faucet, toaster, convection toaster oven, coffee makers (both Keurig single cup and traditional Gevalia 12cup), espresso machine, deep fryer, blender, slow cooker crock pot, and is fully equipped with pots & pans, plates, utensils, silverware, wine glasses, drinking glasses, coffee cups, etc. It also has a water softener for all interior faucets and a reverse osmosis water purifier in the kitchen for filtered drinking water. Linen closet is fully stocked and includes all bedding sheets, bath towels & pool towels. There is seating for six in the dining area overlooking the canal.

Extras: The garage storage area includes a Bait Freezer, fishing rods, in the rod holders and plenty of room for all your gear...bring your bicycles (we have a few available for your usage), dive tanks, coolers etc... The Pool has and fiber optic lighting for your evening swimming pleasure. Pool Noodles and floats are also provided in deck box poolside.

Nearby attractions include Sombrero Beach, Sombrero reef (snorkeling/scuba diving), the Turtle Hospital, the Dolphin Research Center, the Florida Keys Aquarium Encounter, the Old 7-mile bridge, and of course, Key West.

Come and enjoy your vacation at our beautiful Marathon Oasis. It rents weekly and has a maximum of six persons capacity. We prefer non-smokers, however, smoking is permitted outside the property. No smoking inside the home is permitted.

*Please know this is our home and we do have owner's storage areas that are PRIVATE and NOT for guest usage. Please respect our personal space and do not attempt to enter these areas. These locked areas are sectioned off in the second bedroom closet, the garage, and one of the hallway closets and should not be entered.

*Please note we do have a 27' personal watercraft on a boat lift and a floating dock. There is approximately 35' of dock available for guest boat docking use. We can only allow 1 boat per stay.

*Please also note for your protection, there are security cameras on the front of the home covering the driveway, back of the home covering our boat, and on both sides of the home covering the gates. No cameras are located inside the home or viewing the pool area.
