Stunning location; ready for ‘hurdles’
view is great, very clean for a mountain cabin. Cozy space, well-furnished & great supportive property manager. ‘Forest bath’ and ‘washer/dryer’ are not really feasible. Lots of last minute ‘updates’ via email about the conditions- water not drinkable; bridge out. ?how many of these were honest last minute issues. There’s no cell reception or landline, which would be fine if electrical/heat systems were not very finicky with horrible directions. If the WiFi hotspot generating laptop fails- good luck. The power relies on a generator- which for us had melted the day before our arrival.relies

We loved our stay here. The cabin is gorgeous and cozy, the tub is a wonderful touch, and the surrounding area is undeniably gorgeous. My only change would be clearer communication regarding getting the power on when you arrive. We figured it out eventually when we found the binder with instructions, but as it was getting dark when we arrived, there was a lot of flashlight searching. Otherwise a perfect place for a truly secluded getaway.

Serene, Quiet, and Safe Nature Escape!
This cabin was perfect for our time exploring North Cascades NP! Don’t be nervous about the cabin being off-the-grid. It is clean and cozy, has indoor plumbing with hot water, a full-size refrigerator and freezer, and a brand-new looking stove and oven. (All powered by propane.) It even has a washer and dryer. The binder at the cabin answers any questions and Sarah is amazing as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the calm, serene feeling in this unique gated community and definitely recommend the hot forest bath. I wish that we could have stayed longer to take more advantage of the cabin and community. Note: please take Sarah’s advice and plan to arrive during the daylight. As she mentions, there are no street lights in the community and quiet hours are also observed.

Wonderful stay with great location to North Cascade National Park!
The three of us enjoyed this relaxing property! Sarah, the property manager was very responsive with questions and we loved the invitation to read books in the owners wonderful library! The very first night we saw a mama owl with her two babies right out front of the cabin! Strongly recommend!

40th birthday retreat and home base!
I stayed with my friend for a week at Javi's, and it was such a special location to post up and relax. We were doing some climbing in the area, and to be able to come back to the peace, quiet, seclusion of the cabin and to have the hot outdoor bath, was absolutely perfect! Sarah was an incredible host, who responded to any questions about the property and area very promptly and politely. I had a few light items shipped to the Marblemount post office, and although I didn't time it right to pick them up, Sarah went out of her way to get them forwarded to my home address--amazing kindness! I hope I can return to stay again soon. It was a wonderful retreat.
