Not what it once was. Well kept clean rooms right on the beautiful white sand beaches of Marco Island. Umbrella and chairs at the beach provided depending on the unit (also valet service depending on the unit). This is no longer a hotel as the units have been sold as condos to individual owners. The name has been changed to Marco Beach Ocean Suites to reflect the change in services. No more room or beach/poolside service, towels, or water at the beach (as was in the past). You aren't even allowed to use the bathrooms at the beach grill area. Beach/pool towels are provided in the rooms which you have to take to the pool/beach yourself. If you want a full service hotel, skip this place and book a room at the adjacent Marriott or Hilton hotels.

Ehhhhhh this place was an outdated, desolate dump. ALL staff was very helpful and friendly though. Esp the valet guys. Only good thing was how close it was to the beach. Our patio was rendered useless because of a disgusting bug that swarmed the island. Our back patio in particular was so covered we couldn’t even go out there. Other areas right near our area wasn’t even close to as covered with the bugs. So not sure why ours was so bad. Even had them on the living room table we noticed towards the end of our trip and millions were in the track of the patio door. And no offense, but who has dark ugly carpeting and decor in a beach complex? Esp an expensive bougie area like Marco Island. My husband said it looked like the hotel in the Shining. Bedrooms and bathrooms were mediocre. Shower in master was the tiniest shower we ever saw and quite a few hairs in both bathrooms when we checked in. This place needs completely remodeled and I can’t believe the amount of $ we spent on it.I think that’s what bothered me the most. This place 1000% needs to be gutted. Could be amazing because of the wonderful location to beach and restaurant/shops. I would not recommend this place at all and I feel very sad and sorry to say it but I just needed to be honest.

Location was great. The rooms were excellent. We had kitchenette in our suite and it was great especially if you are traveling with kids. Access to the beach was nice. Overall this place is great and I definitely recommend this place. We will be back

Great location and quiet relative to other options. Comfortable beds, nice shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Great beach and pool. The rooms could use some updating. There are also no laundry options unless you go to a laundromat. There were tiny black flies in our room which we noticed came in from the terrace, so be careful before you open the terrace sliding glass door. That was unfortunate as it rendered the terrace unused after we made that mistake once. So, if the management can regularly treat the terraces, this would help. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this great option in Marco Island.

If you check in and room is not ready they will not give you towels for beach or pool. The property is TIRED, carpet tired. Beds had mattress topper because mattress tired, garage elevator musty, furniture in unit original and old, Needs some TLC!

Positives: Less expensive than other hotels in the area, very clean, beautiful ocean view rooms, valet parking included, extremely friendly and helpful staff, easily walkable to shops and restaurants, kitchenette in the room. Negatives: Needs some updating (but at half the cost of other hotels nearby, I'm not complaining), pool area was kind of small (but it wasn't busy when we were there, so that wasn't an issue), it's not right on the beach, but a short walk through another hotel property. Again, not really an issue unless you prefer to be able to step right out of your hotel and onto the beach. We would absolutely stay here again!

This resort has a beautiful location on the beach; our room was large and had a magnificent ocean view, but the property is showing its age and could use a refresh. It also has no coffee shop or restaurant on site.
