The Onyx - Margaret River
5 minutes to Margaret River and 5 minutes the beach, you have everything the region has to offer on your doorstep! Enjoy a quiet getaway of WA sunsets on a rural property, with a fire pit and cozy setting. The Onyx is a tiny home, built from a 40ft shipping container, beautifully fitted out. There is a small deck area out the front with seating and a fire pit, allowing you to enjoy the down south lifestyle.
The Space
The Onyx is a tiny home, built from a large 40ft shipping container. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and seating area. Up one end is the bedroom with king bed, past the kitchen is the bathroom with toilet, vanity and walk in shower. Up the opposite end of the cabin is a seating nook perfect for reading and drawing in the picture book provided. The outdoor area has a BBQ, shade sail, table and chairs and a fire pit for use in Winter.
The Onyx sits on a large 5 acre property. You will pass the Owners shed when you drive into the property, but once you reach the accommodation dwelling you will have full privacy and uninterrupted views to the northwest. The owners live onsite and have two small children, who do tend to play outside and you maybe hear every now and then, however we make sure you always have your privacy.
Other Things to Note:
No children please: for safety reasons and use of farming equipment on the property. No pets. 10km/hr driving speed when on the property.
Maximum of 2 cars: We will allow a maximum of two vehicles on the property.
Mobile Reception: Be aware Telstra Mobile reception on our road is very poor, and you may not get any in the accommodation. Optus works great and the wifi works well.
No Laundry facilities or TV: please note, there is no laundry on site or Television.
Linen: linen is included in your stay.
Cleaning Fee: While we charge a cleaning fee, we still expect our guests to leave the house in a neat & tidy condition on departure and follow our check-out instructions including washing all dishes and removing rubbish to outside bins etc.
