Beautiful cabin, great views!
We had the most amazing stay! The cabin was the perfect layout for our family. It was clean and had everything we needed. At first I was worried about being about ~15 minutes outside of town, but the drive to/from the cabin is so beautiful that we loved it! Craig was a responsive and helpful host. We would love to come back!

Great Spot
Amazing location, at 3300 ft. of elevation everything was cool and breezy even in July. Really convenient to lots of hiking spots. Including a trail straight off the back of the cabin.

Getaway Retreat
The cabin is definitely in the woods and off from any busy area. The cabin was well appointed and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and even had some essentials left behind in refrigerator and ice in freezer. The area is very quite with great views. The hot tub was clean and very enjoyable with views from the deck. Very good experience.

Nice stay, beautiful setting, very enjoyable.
Beautiful area, quiet and secluded. Comfortable and well appointed. At 6 ft 5 I did hit my head a few times and would like to have had a king bed but fun all the same. Quite a drive to Snowshoe if that is your destination. Overall an A grade.

Relaxing Cabin Getaway
The cabin was secluded and quiet. It was perfect for a quick getaway, but a longer stay would also be very doable. The cabin was well furnished and everything was thought of down to the last detail. We enjoyed the porch swing as well as the wildlife viewing. We visited Marlington and enjoyed just being able to relax. The ability to bring our pup with us was a huge benefit and she enjoyed the property as well. We will definately be back.

Loved my stay. However when we pulled out the couch the bed was filthy. The steps to second floor were too narrow to get suitcase up. Loved the kitchen. Craig must be a professional chef. Had a great time site seeing

family log cabin adventure
it's just like in the pictures only better.borders national park so its very private with hiking trails into the forest. the kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft. walking into a log cabin you don't expect to find a kitchen that would not disappoint a professional chef.everything was better than expected for the entire family, including our senior dog. fishing is close by(2.8 miles)to a age 10 and under trout pond.and 4-5 miles tops to the Williams river.Marlinton is also close by for amenities(although many not open yet for season during our visit) would we stay again? yes definitely .we wish we could have booked for a couple weeks but work and school schedules didn't allow it this time. 5 star rating from my entire family. please follow owner's directions, not GPS. his are very precise

A very nice log cabin at the edge of a field at the top of a long mountain valley. National Forest border sign in back yard! Very nice appliances and kitchen. Herd of deer wander the far edge of the field and c0me up near house at dusk. Hot tub in a heavy snowfall was suer fun.

Beautiful
The cabin was a wonderfully relaxing place to spend a couple of days with our family who were over visiting from England. The deer that visit the property in the evening were a highlight for us. We sat on the porch each night as the sun was going down and around 7 or 8 deer would come right over to the front of the cabin and eat apples that had fallen from the nearby trees, it was amazing. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We would recommend this place and would love to stay again. Thank you

Loved the getaway!
This cabin was exactly what we wanted. We only wished that we had been able to stay longer. I was afraid that the kids would get bored since there is no cell phone service and limited internet, but they really enjoyed it and want to go back! We would definitely like to go again in the summer/fall.
