The driveway has steep grade and requires 4WD or AWD. Room for three cars to park at the bottom of the drive with room to turn around.

Mountain Haven

We loved our stay at this property! We traveled with our 4 kids and my parents. There was space for everyone and plenty to do. The house was designed to work well for families and children, what a plus! The location was good and the community had a lot to offer. The only down side is that we should’ve stayed longer.

Best find yet!

My husband, our two 4 year olds, and some friends came to stay last minute to celebrate our kiddos being adopted! Our plans changed last minute due to the forest fires in NC and we were so lucky to find this house available and in a safe location.This house was so clean, BEAUTIFUL, and FULL of fun stuff to do. Usually houses are clean but there’s nothing to do except watch tv. This house had TVs everywhere, swings (my favorite), board games, shuffleboard, skee ball (my kids favorite), and more! It was so nice to stay at a house with all sorts of entertainment options. My husband spent an hour in the massage chair We also loved the waffle bar! It was so great to not have to go to the store to buy food for 100 meals. Everything my kids needed for fun breakfast waffles was right there. Sprinkles, chocolate chips, and syrup plus super fun waffle designs.This was the best weekend in the best house we’ve ever found! And the owners were so so kind and reaching out to us several times to make sure we found our way in and had everything we needed.Definitely a great find for anyone wanting a beautiful view and still close enough to nearby towns for dining and adventure.

Snowy Cabin in the Mountains

We really liked the cabin and had a wonderful time. Would recommend it to others in a heartbeat. Pictures and amenities are accurate to the listing. Would definitely advise 4wd if there has been a recent snow as the road the cabin is on doesn’t get cleared off as fast as the others. We hope to return soon!

Just Right Experience

We have stayed at different properties over the years in the area for our annual family gathering. But this time, staying at this property, was different. The house was absolutely perfect for us and I’m picky. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, it was warm and included special touches like the massage chair and games. The kitchen was fully stocked for our big homemade meals. The hosts were so kind and truly wanted the best out of our experience. We decided to make this our annual place instead of moving around. I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the mountains. There are gorgeous hikes within 1 miles of the home including Bald Mountain. The beds are very comfortable and the layout of the home is perfect for families.

Fantastic House - Beautiful Views

This house is beautiful, clean and offers numerous separate areas to hang out including a separate bedroom/bath upstairs on its own floor, game and lounge area downstairs and on main floor. Overall I would highly recommend and the views are beautiful. The owners were terrific and communicated in advance as well as checked in during our stay.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed everything. The layout of the house was great. Rooms were nice. The large round table was great for playing games. We had a blast. The driveway was a little intense so we parked at the top of the driveway. We would stay here again. The only thing that we would change would be the location. It was about an hour drive to anything we went to do. We would give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Wolf Laurel Spring Break

Our family loved our stay at Wolf Laurel! The hosts were great and house was very comfortable for our family (8 year old, 13 year old and dog) and two grandmas. Such a beautiful place, with lots of walking and hiking options in the neighborhood. Would love to come again in summer or fall!

So wonderful!

We had the best time staying here! The house is beyond perfect and the views are stunning. You can tell they put so much effort into making this a wonderful place to stay. There are so many small touches throughout the house where you can tell they went above and beyond to make it extra special. Bonding with Newborn Grandbaby Time!

Our adult children and grandbaby joined us in the house that was absolutely perfect for our quick get away. There were so many details that made our stay special including the Waffle Bar, hot tub with towel warmers, massage chair and a huge selection of games, smart tvs and well stocked kitchen. The views were also spectacular with nice trails close-by. It was absolutely perfect.

Fantastic Mountain Cabin

I've never received better customer service - including Instacarting several cooking items to be sure we had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving meal special! Jeff and Kara are a delight to work with and the cabin exceeded expectations. It's very clean, well equipped - including an AMAZING massage chair! - and the design and views are lovely. 5 stars all the way!

Hidden Mountain Gem

I rented the cabin for my family of three and my sister’s family of four. We also took my two small dogs. The cabin is lovely and the views are amazing. The owners have taken extra care in the details and this is truly a hidden gem if you are looking for a quiet get away with family or friends. The views from the cabin are fantastic…gorgeous sunsets. My 13 year old enjoyed the trout pond and was thrilled when I cooked his fresh catch two days while there. Game nights were a must with all of the options available in the cabin. Thank you for a wonderful experience! The owners checked in with us to know they were available and cared about our time there. They were great! We are already considering coming back in the Fall!

Wonderful mountain escape!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! It was exactly as advertised (and better!)! The massage chair was amazing and worked overtime! Sleeping with the windows open allowing the cool air to blow in was a treat! We had excursions to Navitat for the Ultimate Ziplining Adventure! Highly recommend! We hiked to Craggy Gardens! And we explored The Biltmore and did the estate tour and enjoyed the gardens and lunch there at the Stable Cafe. We enjoyed hiking the Nature Trail at Wolf Laurel and used the resort pool, played pickleball, and played basketball! We enjoyed dinner out in Asheville at Rye Knot and another night for amazing pizza at Blue Mountain Pizzeria in Weaverville (a referral from our neighbor John!)! We enjoyed the hot tub and cooking s’mores over the fire! We played skeeball and shuffleboard and cards and grilled out! Kara was an amazing host checking in and ensuring all was well! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and we’d definitely come again! Thank you Kara! Cheers!
