Absolutely wonderful hotel!
We had the most enjoyable 5 night stay at Maisons du Monde. The hotel is perfectly located in the Vieux-Port. Very comfortable beds and our room was kept spotlessly clean every day. Reception staff were amazing - so friendly & helpful. I would recommend this hotel without question.

The apartment we stayed in is beautiful & spacious, it has a kitchen and laundry facilities, tv so we feel at home. However, the air conditioning was not the best, so it was often not as comfortable as we wished, considering how warm it has been in Marseille. The check-in process was good, but the staff member forgot to return our passport to us. We are very close to the city metro station. The actual unit is not in the same building as the check-in building. Definitely walkable & transportation is relatively easy where we stayed.

The air conditioning did not work. The inside air temp was 25C/78d. It was hot outside and we could not cool down once we returned to the apt. Could not even sleep in the covers of the bed. If the A/C worked properly, the apt would have been perfect, but this was a BIG issue.
