Origen Suites is great. The rooms are super comfy and well appointed. There's plenty of hot water, good AC and a full kitchen, though you do have to request things like pots and pans, knives, cutting board, coffee maker, iron etc. But all is readily available and delivered quickly. The elevator is efficient and there's a great coffee shop that adjoins the lobby with a full bar and offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location is perfect though the close proximity to " La Iglesia de San Joaquin" is a bit loud, since the bells ring at about 7:30 am and definitely wake you up. The hotel provides ear plugs but they did nothing against the church bells. I highly recommend the hotel..

The hotel is clean, staff speaks English, and walking distance from local shops. The property is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so a taxi ride required to go to any major points of interest. It is quiet aside from the church bells ringing loud once in a while. The area is safe minus one or two weird people occasionally.

Love the Hotel , is on a quiet site , but close enough to the busy street with all the misc and night clubs. The only down site are the Bells from church in am , didn’t bother after second day( my room was across from the Bells)

Comfortable spacious rooms.
I have stayed at Origen a few times due to its location. Everything you need is right around the corner. Can be a little noisy, but that is the Colombian city life. Will continue to stay at Origen when in the area.

I love this place. i wish i could live here. The beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly.. The only thing i wish i could change is the darn church bells going off everyday. My advice is to always book s room away from the church if you can..
