The property seemed very understaffed leading the stressed staff being inattentive and sometimes rude. Room air conditioning with woeful and leading to poor sleeping conditions even in the expensive (overpriced) suite rooms
The hotel facilities and rooms were good. We were a family group with 3 rooms. The hotel appeared seriously understaffed - a 15 minute wait to check in, a 25 minute wait for bar service, a combined total of an hour and a half between arriving at the restaurant and receiving our meals. Shambolic is the word which comes to mind. When I checked out, the morning manager joked that the charge was $2000 in front of my elderly mother, who did not realise he was joking and was quite upset. Perhaps some training around appropriate behaviour for people of all abilities would help, if they can spare the time.
Nice hotel, staff were really friendly, close to shops and has parking (which costs extra). Brekky was pretty decent although got a bit samey after staying for 15 nights. Loved the pool.
We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms for a one night stay which was clean, modern, comfortable quiet and contained the basic items. Good clothes hanging area and place for luggage. The bathroom was modern, well sized with good pressure hot shower. We chose not to park on site ($25) which was ok as we left before restrictions started at 8am. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with enthusiasm. We didn't have time for the breakfast buffet which seemed standard and looked fresh, we had a nice yet luke warm coffee before leaving. Recommend for short stay accom where your not concerned about parking.
Convenient as I was attending a work conference at the hotel. I did not get the car parking discount given to conference day only attendees, which was disappointing.
Also breakfast expensive for what it was. Pleasant staff.
