Great hotel close to airport, our room date included a shuttle and breakfast.
Arrived from UK at 10pm no shuttle, an hour in the gold with elderly travellers all waiting for a non existent shuttle.
Did find later about a ‘Uber/taxi’ strike which prevented it working that night but seemed not to affect any of the other hotel shuttles which zoomed back and forth.
That was by email, I never got in the 12 hour flight.
Also no pickup from the hotel for half a dozen calls.
Then had to get a taxi, $27 for 3 min drive, but did not get a receipt so could not be reimbursed.
Finally to check in, confirmed we are all getting breakfast included in the price of the rooms, our friends to room 209, us to 249
Room 249 doesn’t exist !!!
So back down to get the right room my husband goes, new room on the 5th floor but me and the luggage are on 2nd floor which can’t be accessed by a 5 th floor card .
Anyway, finally get to sleep.
Great room, no complaints.
Go for breakfast to find neither rooms are on the list.
On the last nerve I had, the dining room manager was ever so kind and let us have breakfast, which was also very good.
But the stress this whole booking took on our group was extreme.
Suggestion, stay by all means, great room and breakfast BUT make sure you arrive within business hours and triple check every part of your booking.
