Summary:
Tiny Harper is where you go when you need to catch your breath. If you need some help unwinding, book yourself in for a wild yoga session.
Harper is an easy 90 minute drive north-west from Melbourne in the Macedon Ranges region. Set in a beautiful and secluded location, it’s the perfect spot to switch off. Spend your getaway undoing the stress of city life. Wander the property, sleep-in, finish a book outside in the fresh air, or enjoy a relaxing massage on site.
If you feel like a bit more of a wander, the local town of Malmsbury is one of the most historic in the area and is filled to the brim with great coffee, bakeries, antiques and more. There are also a few wineries and cider breweries nearby. Harper is the perfect tiny house for couples, families and friends looking to escape the city, disconnect and unwind in a natural setting.
Named after the brilliant author Harper Lee, best known for writing To Kill a Mockingbird.
The Space:
Harper sleeps 4 with a Queen bed in the loft and two single beds downstairs. We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. Don't expect to charge your laptop or plug in any appliances, but there is a small USB charger.
Please note the single beds are set up on an “L” shaped lounge. One of the single beds (i.e. one side of the lounge) is perfect for children, but adults may find it a little tight. The other side comfortably sleeps, 1 adult).
The Neighborhood:
Please note, to keep our houses hidden the location shown on the map is not accurate and should be used as a rough guide. The exact location will be revealed two days before your stay.
Other Things to Note:
Mobile reception at the property is very limited.
Pet Policy: Unfortunately, Harper is situated on a working farm with livestock, so has a strict no pets policy - sorry!
Fire Policy: There is a total fire ban in place during the summer.
