The staff is friendly, and the room is clean. However, the internet connection is unstable, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work well. Also, while breakfast is served buffet-style, the selection is limited, so it might be better to eat at a nearby café.

I really liked this hotel!! Do it!
Very nice front desk help, very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Double paned windows and quiet - except for my comment below. Excellent AC. All good towels and sheets. Excellent housekeeping. The roof garden could use more plants/plant care and the free breakfast was OK, acceptable but not something to write home about. WiFi was fine. The only conceivable complaint I have relates to to two restaurants below - I was on the first floor - where you can hear the pretty awful EDM music at night ... not too late, not all nights, and not so bad with the double paned windows. I would have preferred better music :) but I would not call this a dealbreaker. I assume it would have been quieter on a higher floor. After looking around - I think this was one of the best options for a fairly quiet street and neighborhood.

A beautiful staff always helpful and welcoming were of invaluable service, even in ordering tickets to Ballet Folklórico and receiving prescription delivery for us after our departure flight got canceled. The bed was large and comfy, the rooftop terrace VERY relaxing, and we very much felt at home. We will be back! The stay was perfect!

Lastimosamente lo q pudo haber sido una linda experiencia no lo fue. El bano no bajaba la válvula para solidos. La solución segun ellos es bombear 3 veces el bano. Imaginense el bano asi. No habia comodidad. La única vez q fueron a tratar de solucionar solo llevaron un balde de agua. Por ultimo, el dia del check out nos dicen q todo bien y q nos van a hacer la devolución de la garantía. Cuando llegamos a nuestro siguiente destino nos escriben que nos hemos robado una toalla! Y q nos la vana descontar! Porque nadie fue a revisar la habitación mientras seguiamos en el counter. Se les pidió que vuelva a revisar sus toallas y han pasado 8 dias y nadie ha tenido la cortesía de contestar.

Fantastic staff, comfortable beds, linens and towels are fine. If you are looking for a good breakfast, however, this is not the place for you. But there are really good restaurants all over the neighborhood.

Was a great little hotel located in the heart of Condessa with a delicious cafe across the street. And 2 great bars downstairs. We were on the second floor and couldn’t hear the bar at all! Was a great place to stay in Mexico City!

Maria Condesa needs to get its act together!
Just to be clear, I have stayed at the Maria Condesa 4X over the last couple of years. I liked it very much and the staff was very friendly. I was there in March and had an issue with the water. But they fixed it by end of the day. But last night there was NO water in the whole hotel. No toilet flushing, no hand washing and certainly no shower. I understand that CDMX has a water shortage, but I think it goes beyond that. The property is getting worn. Little things in the room were broken and not fixed. I hope they get their act together. The location IS fantastic, but I also like to take shower and have hot water. Not sure if I can give them another chance after this. And there was no apology or offer of any kind of credit. I had to spend the $$ for another hotel that night, so the room ended up more expensive. The reviews used to be very positive and I don't see that anymore.

Ran out of hot water
The room is big enough for 2 people. However there are no drawees for us to unpack to put our clothes away. Upgrade was not available since it is a small boutique hotels, there was no availability The worst part about this hotel is it ran out the hot water for our last 2 days of stay. Therefore we had to manage to take a Cole shower. I complained to the front desk. The clerk said they r trying to fix the problem.. however is really not the hotel’s fault since the whole city have water shortage problem, not just Condesa Maria. That said, please be aware
