Great value great views!

Great hotel in centre of Mexico. Fantastic value, even free beer at downstairs bar. Also free apples on each floor!. Upstairs restaurant good food with amazing views. If/when we return to Mexico City we’ll return.

Amazing hotel with great staff

We had the best experience at Zocalo Hotel and Rooftop. The concierge and front desk were amazing and attentive. They spend so much time orienting us to the hotel and to the area. They were generous with drinks and encouraged us to relax and have a good time. We had the two junior suites overlooking the Zocalo and the views were magical! Will definitely be back

It was my first time in Mexico City and Hotel Central Balcon Del Zocalo was the best choice for location and the hotel was absolutely great. The best food and the best view. Easy walking distance to the Bellas Artes. Easy Ubering to anywhere you want to go. Mexico in general is where you want to visit . The best country to give your tourism to

The staff was lovely, the lobby smelled fragrant, they offer complementary food and drinks 24/7 at the lobby cafe, the view from the rooftop is great, and they provide free walking tours daily in the AM! The only thing I wish for my next visit will be a bigger room with window light and a nicer view.

A Truly Exceptional Experience at Hotel Zócalo Central From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay at Hotel Zócalo Central exceeded expectations. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, the warmth of the staff, and the overall atmosphere made this an unforgettable experience. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the team went above and beyond to decorate the room beautifully—she felt truly special and celebrated. Special thanks to Mr. José Luis, who was always incredibly kind and accommodating with everything we needed. The manager, Fernanda Guerrero, and Nancy Gutiérrez made sure our arrival was smooth, warm, and welcoming—an experience we won’t forget. One of the highlights of the stay was their Café Central, which offers complimentary food and drinks throughout the day—a rare and generous touch that made us feel so pampered. On every floor, there are also free bottles of water and fresh apples available at all times, which is such a thoughtful detail for guests. The bed was also extremely comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud! After a long day exploring the city, it was exactly what we needed for a restful night. The hotel itself is stunning, with an unbeatable location right in the heart of Mexico City. And the view from the rooftop? Simply beautiful—perfect for soaking in the energy and charm of the historic center. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable, and high-quality stay in CDMX!

The near prefect reviews of this place are entirely deserved. One of the best places I've ever stayed and I don't say that lightly. The staff was absolutely over the top good. We had a free welcome drink of Mezcal at check in and it only got better and better from there. As a US tourist with very little Spanish and zero experience in Mexico City staying here was a huge part of our trip being as amazing as it was. The room was quiet for how loud the area is but light sleepers may still want ear plugs as there's a lot going on in central Mexico City and this location is as Central as you can get. The restaurant upstairs was one of the best meals we had the whole trip. The cafe was so great to have available all day and night and almost entirely free of charge. The advice and 24hr availability of the staff, the security, literally everything made this place an absolute 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
