I'm not going to book hotels through Expedia anymore. I rather pay extra for peace... this places was noisy all night long and smelled like smoke.

Not as Expected

This hotel was not an 8.0 rating as shown in the write-up. The “restaurant” was closed when we arrived at 5:00 on a Saturday night and we had to walk several blocks to find a place at a service station to eat in an area that did not feel safe. The tiny lobby was locked and required staff to buzz you in to enter. Would not have chosen this hotel if description had been accurate.

The neighbors on either side were super loud. One neighbor was in a straight out domestic violence situation. But the property did very little about it. In fact, at the end, they said they’ve done all they can do - which was knock on their door and tell them to quiet up. Then the front desk said we leave at midnight, if there’s still a problem, let them know in the morning. Such a cop-out!

This motel was frightening. I’m not sure where the pictures from the website come from, but this place had scary movie vibes. After hauling our luggage up several steep stairs, we found ourselves in a room with paper thin walls and a door that felt anything but safe.

The location is excellent, making it easy to commute conveniently via public transport to the south and north. The staff is kind and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the walls are thin, which means that sounds like coughing can be heard from adjacent rooms, so that might be something to consider for light sleepers. The amenities are simple, but they are well-maintained and warm. Overall, it’s a good option for the price, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

This property is not true to the picture. The rooms were not ready for a 3pm check-in. The noise is crazy load, every conversation and road noise could be heard in the room. The product used to clean the room left a slimy coating on the floor. The older caucasian lady was very helpful.
