My girlfriend and I love this spot! It’s a nice property with lovely staff. The rooms are spacious, and it’s really close to downtown. I highly recommend this spot, we will be back!

Not worth it
Upon check in the clerk was no where to be found for over 20min. There was no bell to ring so we called the hotel and the clerk came and sternly scolded us. Not the greatest first impression. Once we got to our room it looked NOTHING like the pictures online. We were on the bottom floor and both windows were unlocked and one was open. We didn’t feel comfortable at all. The smoke alarm was hanging by a thread from the ceiling, and the fire sprinkler had a gaping hole around it in the ceiling. The continental breakfast was like warm, half heated frozen breakfast sandwiches with very bruised bananas. Upon checkout, again the clerk was no where to be found, so we left our keys on the desk and left. The charm of the hotel was the only thing that kept us there for 1 night.

The breakfast that was complementary was oatmeal coffee and granola bar :(. Did not provide water bottles or even tooth paste in the room. But overall it was very clean and nice space. And the staff were nice as well. There was a patio that was good spot to have your coffee in the morning.

The Carriage House is a small hotel with an old school b&b feel to it. The location is walkable to a few restaurants, but it’s better to have a car (there seemed to be enough parking). The rooms seem to be quite varying in size and quality but from what I observed, they definitely could be updated. They were nonetheless comfortable, especially the bed. The shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. The television seemed a bit undersized though. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, always greeting me. Breakfast was continental like a typical Hampton Inn, but the coffee was decent. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it for the price. A solid 8 stars.
