I return for one night to return home next day. What a change from the week before, the gentleman at the front desk was fantastic, the gentleman that brought our bags to the room the same. What a difference

Very unwelcome front desk personnel
The hotel has the best location, the food at their restaurant is very good, just a little limited. The front desk personnel, very cold, no instructions or nice welcome when you arrive. Same when you depart, no how was your stay, we hope to see you again, etc if

The hotel was close to the Duomo and main shopping district. It was also in walkable distance to the site my conference was at. The room was ok, the bed was very comfortable (I do like a hard mattress). Breakfast was included and they had a variety of options every morning.

I felt like I was transported back to the 80’s, and I loved it! Considering how dated this property is, there is real pride in maintaining it. The rooms were immaculately clean, black out roll shutters were perfect, and the breakfast was top notch. Food in the dining room was decent, though the staff seemed a bit standoffish at first, but warmed up eventually. I’d stay here again.

A disappointment
Our room had a terrible layout; the bathroom door whacked anyone sitting on the toilet in the knees and feet. The thermostat didn't work and our room was too hot. Our friend's room was freezing. The vinyl on the chair was cracked and the mattress was uncomfortable. Breakfast was good and the front desk personnel were pleasant.

For the price and location of this hotel, you can’t go wrong. Very close to the Duomo and public transportation. Room was nice and kept but showing its age. Some bad spots in the bathroom as far as run down equipment but serviceable. I would stay again happily.

Hotel is close to the Duomo & everything else in downtown. But it is in a very noisy area ! All night long you're listening to the tram brakes , emergency vehicles & people screaming... Also, it is very outdated : you step into the 60-ies ... Staff was very friendly . Breakfast was good . Hotel needs a better internet service : we were there for 6 days and most of the days it didn't work .TV had the news channels in every language except English ;)
