An unexpected pleasant surprise! The hotel is very clean, our room with a queen bed and pull out couch for the kids was spacious, clean and has a well equipped little kitchen. Amanda at the front desk is amazing! She had everything I needed and more and always helped with a smile. Pay laundry on site was a bonus as I didn’t see that in the hotel description. They had change and soap too. The town is charming and is highly recommend a stop here.

Amazing breakfast.Great room.Super comfortable beds. The only drawback is that the booked room type has a sofa bed but there are no extra pillows and quilts in the room.

Given the wrong room
Check in took longer than it usually does and they didn’t give us the room that I had booked. They said that hotels.com sent them the wrong room but I think they just double booked because of how long it took them to check us in. When my husband went to ask them about it, they didn’t argue, just made an excuse, which means they messed up because if hotels.com sent them the wrong room information then they wouldn’t have had any reason to think they there was a mistake made. They gave us a small discount but it pretty much ruined some of the surprise plans I had for my husband’s 40th birthday trip. I had paid for a suit with a kitchenette and ended up getting a room with a sink instead, so I wasn’t able to cook any of the food I had brought. When we checked out, the woman at the counter tried to charge us full price, saying that the discount was applied… she even argued with my husband. Over all I was disappointed in the check in and out service, but it was clean and close to the activity that I had booked for my husband.

Overall great hotel. breakfast was very good. Conveniently located. Recommend putting signs up for pet owners to pick up after their dogs. Also since it’s pet friendly which I appreciate remove carpet and install laminate/vinyl flooring .

A great place to stay in Chemainus. Clean and updated rooms, very quiet. The pool is nice and we also really enjoyed the breakfast, which is included. Will definitely stay again!

We've stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions. It is one of the better chain hotels in the area. It is conveniently located and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The price of the rooms has risen substantially between stays. I suspect the increase is the result of the cost of the complimentary breakfast which we don't need and would prefer not to pay for. Its still a Best Western at the end of the day and should be priced more appropriately. We will explore other options in the area in the future.
