A beautiful perfect barn conversion for 2 people equipped with everything you need. A relaxing place to come home to after a busy day in the Lakes with a neighbouring hotel restaurant (book early).

small but well designed and comfortable
For a small building, the layout is good and high quality fittings, too. We used it primarily as a touring base. Specific comments: the bed was really comfortable; could do with bigger bath towels; no spare washing up cloths or tea towels. The shower is electric and works well, but when you are used to a power shower . . .

Perfect
The house is small but had everything we needed to make it perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make our stay a home from home and the location was ideal for everywhere we wanted to visit plus there’s a hotel next door that does lovely meals but you have to book in advance because it’s very popular. Really enjoyed our stay.

Quaint little hideaway.
Lovely little hideaway for visiting the Lake District. The cottage is an ideal size for a couple to relax, unwind and enjoy the area. Really good access from the nearby motorway and in turn, a brilliant location to explore the rest of the national park. I booked this quaint little cottage for my mum as we have a place nearby so we could visit her whilst on her stay. The place is spotless and has everything you might need for a comfortable break away from the rat race. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. Thanks :-)

Excellent location
The property was perfect for two people exploring the local area. Crooklands hotel next door was great for easy food and a restful pub after a long walking day. But if you want dinner make sure you book. Couldn’t recommend the property more highly.
