Weekend for Four at Studley Knapp
The appartment could do with a new modern bathroom/power shower and kitchen. The shower is terrible, zero water pressure and impossible to sustain desired temperature. I gave up, and decided to sit in the empty bath and wash from the mixer tape, no time to fill up a bath. The kitchen looks ok, it's not until you use it that you notice it could do with a refurb. Four people eating around the kitchen table is a squeeze. Garden was a good size, only seating for 2 people, needed weeding. No full lengh mirrors, each bedroom has a round mirror but it's mounted too high and over the bed. So I had to stand on the bed to apply make up. We did get early 12.30pm check-in which was great, as we were attending Reggae Land at The National Bowl, 10min taxi ride away. I probably wouldn't stay again because of the very poor shower plumbing but ok if you're happy to run a bath or wash with a trickle of water. The sofa bed is not very sturdy. If body weight is not evenly balanced it will tip over which my friend found out. Seema welcomed me, a lovely and friendly lady and happy to answer questions. Lyn, who overlooked our booking was great too. Very good communication.
