One shower and toilet between all rooms. In these days of Covid, not good.
Found someones dirty laundry in the drawers. The rest of the drawers were filthy.
Wifi turned off at 20:00 and stayed off.
Tv was a big as the palm of my hand- I'm not kidding.
All this for £70 a night. What a joke!
Great breakfast. Although bathroom was shared I used it as if it was my own! Friendly helpful staff. My WiFi didn’t work well from my room so had to access it in public downstairs. Opportunity to meet the locals!
Walls or rooms are paper thin as it is an old building so take sleeping ear plugs if you are sound sensitive
This was a good value deal for one night in Milton Keynes
Quiet - by the road but v.little road noise. Bathroom layout a bit quirky but made best use of the space. Comfortable and clean, with a friendly welcome and good breakfast - perfect for our one night stopover.
The property is old as you would expect from a coaching inn but is spotlessly clean. A nice welcome from the landlord and his wife. The locals in the bar chatted and made you feel welcome as did the barman. The evening meal we had was very nice indeed and the breakfast one of the best we have had in a very long time. A good stay and would highly recommend.
Pretty grotty run-down place - only open Monday to Friday evenings for food/refreshments -
Good straightforward cooked Breakfast - otherwise pretty basic! - Probably overpriced at £70 for a 'deluxe room' - which meant it had it's own bathroom rather than shared!
It. Should have been mentioned when booking that there were no evening meals on Sundays and we weren't informed that there was no evening meal on the night we arrived until it was too late. Other than that it was a good stay. Food good. Landlady and husband very nice. Nice room.
